I was born in Kiev (capital of Ukraine, then Soviet Union), and came to US at the age of 16. As a child and teenager, I wanted to be a school teacher and a dancer. However, after immigrating, I received a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, and for many years worked as a software developer for large corporations, while also studying modern dance and experimental film making.

After moving to San Francisco in 1998, I became interested in Buddhist philosophy, transpersonal psychology, Yogic life style, and various forms of artistic self-expression. I received a Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology with concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies in 2004. During internship, I worked with children, adolescents, adults and seniors at JFCS, RAMS, Inc., High School Wellness Program and the Living Arts Counseling Center in San Francisco.
I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in 2008, and currently specialize in the following areas:
- Spiritual and existential inquiry
- Lack of energy, purpose or fulfillment in life
- Sexual and relationship difficulties
- Adolescent problems
Feel free to contact me for a short free consultation to determine if you'd like to work with me.
Thank you for your interest in my work.
